Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice. Let your
moderation be known unto all men. The Lord [is]
at hand. Be careful for nothing; but
in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all
understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things
are true, whatsoever things [are]
honest, whatsoever things [are] just,
whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever
things [are] lovely, whatsoever
things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these
things. Those things, which ye have
both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace
shall be with you. Phil 4:4-9,
I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for
ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God
doeth [it], that [men] should fear before him. That
which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. And moreover I saw under the sun the place of
judgment, [that] wickedness [was] there; and the place of
righteousness, [that] iniquity [was] there. I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous
and the wicked: for [there is] a time
there for every purpose and for every work. I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the
sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they
themselves are beasts. For that which befalleth
the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea,
they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for
all [is] vanity. All go unto one place; all are of the
dust, and all turn to dust again. Who knoweth the spirit of
man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast
that goeth downward to the earth? Wherefore I perceive that [there is] nothing better, than that a
man should rejoice in his own works; for that [is] his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after
him? Ecc 3.
(Testimony
continued from Part #2) Once again to stress that the memory of such things
remains distant, however the sharing of this life with others is a matter of
choice and will concerning what is highlighted by memory and what is pertinent
to understanding the scope and the content of spiritual war. This testimony is
presented in such a way as to reveal the deeper things of the heart that
discerns right from wrong in the spiritual walk. For Ken it was a war that for
years was not understood until later but is testified about to equip others
with the knowledge they need to wage intelligent warfare in their own lives. Written
in the third person this testimony is set in order to encourage others to
continue on in this pathway of holiness even though all seems to be set in
array against their will to be found faithful in Christ.
~***~
Turning back the clock a bit on Ken’s life, there
were 5 instances of his early life which nearly caused him to die. As was
shared in the 1st part of the testimony, Christ came to Ken at the
age of 7 on that country road. But immediately after that experience, within a
half week, Ken totally forgot the entire experience. It was completely gone
from his mind as very quickly pressures from the outside world were launched
against him in a coordinated assault on Ken’s very life. No sooner had Ken
begun under this mantle and anointing than it was attacked with a vehemence and
a rage that Ken’s young mind did not understand. Numerous things took place
which caused great fear of death to come upon him so much so that he was
paralyzed with it unable to make clear thought decisions nor to comprehend what
was happening to him.
The powers of the air looked upon this “soon-to-be-man”
and assaulted him because of the calling and the anointing. It was intelligent
warfare from powers other than the Lord’s power yet it caused the Lord’s power
to protect Ken even though he was ignorant as to what was happening. This is
not to bestow any special favor or highlight upon Ken’s life as it is, but to
reveal that the Lord works through the callings upon individual’s lives to
bring about His will in the earth. It just so happened that the calling upon
Ken in preparing the church of Christ in prophecy for the greater things of the
Lord was seen and known by all enemy forces whom Christ had defeated upon the
cross. Yet they persist in defying the workings of Christ and in volleys
against Christ’s servants. So it was that Ken when at the age of 7 till the age
of 18 endured many such volley’s. The word of God states in Hosea 4:6 that
God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Ken “heard”, that Jesus
defeated all His enemies; but that “hearing” did him no good until he could
“experience” that victory. Hearing a doctrine about Christ and experiencing the
doctrine with Christ are two very different things. Ken had to learn to take up
the fellowship of Christ’s sufferings at a very early age as there was no
teacher in the world to teach him this, it was taught to him by the Lord alone.
The thing taught was the victory of Christ in rising from the dead. For Ken to understand
that he first had to know the enemy.
So it was that for 11 years the hedge of protection
around Ken’s life was somewhat lowered by the hand of the Lord. This hedge of
protection was there as a sovereign act of God, but it was also lowered by a
sovereign act of God! The hedge being lowered allowed the very same enemies
Christ destroyed at Calvary to attack both the mantle of prophecy and the
anointing on Ken’s life, and finally to attempt to destroy Ken himself as a
vessel of God’s choosing. This can be testified by any person in their experience
of faith should they desire all that the Lord has for them, such things of
spiritual war can encompass them so completely that they too understand the
victory of Christ once these things have been revealed. From those days until
this present day, there has never been an area in the faith of Ken that has not
passed the test nor anything that has been set in array against Ken that he has
not completely triumphed over. Triumphed not because Ken of himself has
anything, but that Ken learned to appropriate Christ’s resurrection and victory
over death for himself in every situation of spiritual war.
There is an added element in the faith of any child
of the Lord whom has been birthed the desire to be conformed into the image of
Christ in all things. That added element is not to bolster faith, but to
attempt to destroy faith. That element is the person’s own carnality which Ken
calls “The Son of Perdition” or “The Abomination That Makes Desolate”. The
carnal mind is the one thing that Christ will never save. He died and atoned
for all mankind not to make their flesh nature better, but to give them a new
life born of the spirit with no impurities from the fall and from natural
carnal power. The believer who now becomes a soldier must not only war against
the outer elements of the “air” which would rule over men’s lives to bring them
to fear and bondage, but the soldier must also combat their own “carnality”,
which minds their life in “this world” and does not regard the next. Ken
believes that the carnal mind and the Son of Perdition Christ mentions in John
17:12 are one and the same. Jesus simply states that He will not save the Son
of Perdition. Good thing! That is the carnal Adam nature, the mark of the
nature of father Adam in the mind and in the works of man – hence the mark of
the beast found in Revelation 13:18. Ken learned early that there is NO
difference between his own carnal mind and the mark of the beast and the Son of
Perdition! All of them are one in the same and in a greater spiritual sense
they become something much more. The Son of Perdition becomes the faith of a
Christian attempting to make their “flesh” better. That is religious effort!
Religion tries to put makeup on the face of carnality and declare that God
accepts it!
For the true Overcomer they learn that God does not
accept their carnality no matter how they try to dress it up in new clothes and
with new makeup. The carnal nature is empowered by the principalities and
powers of the air in such a way as to make religious ambition the norm when in
God’s eyes it is abominable. This perdition then masks itself in fakery and
debauchery and with smooth peaceful tones it comes across as the Lord Himself
accepting their efforts to make their flesh clean. That is the false Lord which
Ken also saw as the Abomination That Makes Desolate, that which was prophesied
by Daniel and Christ and which is now in all the earth. The Lord allowed the 11
young years of Ken’s life from the age of 7 to 18 to be encompassed in furious
war all so Ken would learn that the carnal nature is the physical empowerment
of the fallen spirit world of fallen demonic powers which left their first
estate. Through trial and error Ken learned that these powers were latent, real
and that even though Christ defeated them, that Ken would have to learn to
stand in armor in Christ to overcome them as they attempt to delude him in his
carnal mind. From within and without, the areas of war continued.
Then there is also a difference placed between those
who desire all Christ has for them and who curtail the workings of carnality in
their lives and those who dress up their carnality in a spirit of religion. Not
just those who dress up in a spirit of religion, but unbelievers themselves,
they too become pawns in the spiritual motion of evil towards those who would
do good. In the instances of Ken’s life where he could have nearly died, some
of them were due to the assaults of the powers of the air working through the
lives of people. In every instance the assault to end the life of Ken was real
in intent and in near ability. Not in every case, but in most cases it was due
to this hatred of the ambition Ken had to do “good” and not to succumb to the
spirit of religion by doing that which was evil in the sight of the Lord. Be it
stressed once again that the Lord allowed a hard road for Ken in order that he
might learn to trust Christ implicitly with his life and not ever lean upon any
arm of flesh.
The sharing of these experiences which nearly led to
Ken’s death in his youth will be brief here, the nitty gritty details are not
important.
In the first instance, one may say that it was but a
fluke accident, just an happening that would have been tragic however in
retrospect it was by spiritual power and by that same ambition of evil to end a
life which would one day testify of the power of Christ and of His
resurrection. One of Ken’s jobs on the farm in the winter months of bitter cold
was to use an axe to chop out the ice from the frozen water trough for the
cattle. A large tractor tire had been laid on its side with the side ring cut
out of it and concrete poured in the bottom to seal it from leaking. This was
filled for the herd at least once a day and at least twice a day Ken would have
to chop out the ice. This one particularly cold day Ken stood next to the tire
filled with water as he chopped the ice, behind him was the herd. One of the
cattle jumped up on Ken pushing him down through the chopped hole submerging
the upper half of his body under the water, the cow then standing with its full
weight on Ken’s shoulder blades. Ken was completely submerged and pinned by the
weight of this large animal standing upon his back. Not
was he about to drown, but the weight of the cow was crushing. Ken did not
think or know what to do, he panicked and thought he was to die! But just as
suddenly the cow stepped off of him to the side allowing him to escape. That
was the first instance and miracle.
The second instance is shared in Ken’s overall
testimony at his site. An engine exploded in his face destroying Ken’s forehead
leaving a sliver of skull bone over each eye with steel entering his frontal
lobe, spinning as it went thus causing this brain damage. The testimony of this
can be read in the other paper at the site in the Older Writings section. The
next two experiences were by bullies at school which were very vicious and
literally tried to end Ken’s life. For many months after the engine had
exploded in Ken’s face he had no skull bone to cover what was left of his
brain. He had to go to school this way and he became the object of scorn as
never before. In one case he was held down and beaten unconscious by kicking in
the head by those who bullied him, then his head was covered in dog droppings
and Ken was left bleeding from what used to be his forehead, now impacted by
kicks from the heels of boots and by dog droppings being plastered upon him. In
this state he was taken on a stretcher by ambulance but as soon as they got Ken
to the doors of the ambulance he came to and did not even have a headache, an
obvious miracle. The second time he was beaten it was with a baseball bat,
again, taken to the ambulance but again suddenly coming to and being totally
fine without even a headache. After these experiences Ken’s Dad moved his
family away to another province.
Kenneth B Visscher at the age of 13 (left); just
prior to the brain injury, then at the age of 14,15.
The fifth occurrence was due to the kidnapping by
the witch mentioned in the earlier part of the testimony in part 1. Such stress
was placed on Ken by being tied with strong ropes to the chair that his
circulation in his arms and legs was cut off and he had severe chest pains as
his heart was not able to handle the terror of this event. Everything in the
house had been levitating for at least one 24 hour day, the extent of what
happened there struck such terror into Ken that he failed in his physical heart
and thought near to die. It was then that the Royal Canadian Mounted police had
broken in the front door. The first Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman saw the
levitation and he was so scared he ran from the doorway. The second policeman
behind him looked into the room. Ken yelled for him to get him out of there,
when he did, all the items levitating fell with a crash to the floor and Ken
stood up with the ropes still curled around the chair where he once was tied.
Such was the deliverance of the Lord for Ken in passing his body through the
tightly bound ropes.
The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my
strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, [and] my high tower. I will call
upon the LORD, [who is worthy] to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine
enemies. The sorrows of
death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the
snares of death prevented me. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto
my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, [even]
into his ears. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations
also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and
fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and
darkness [was] under his feet. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did
fly upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round
about him [were] dark waters [and] thick clouds of the skies. At the brightness [that was] before him his
thick clouds passed, hail [stones] and coals of fire. The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the
Highest gave his voice; hail [stones] and coals of fire. Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered
them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited
them. Then the
channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered
at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out
of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them
which hated me: for they were too strong for me. They prevented me in the day of my calamity:
but the LORD was my stay. Ps

Moving up now into Ken’s youth with Janis and now at
the age of 19. Ken worked for his dad in construction back in Salmon Arm. There
was a period of time when Ken worked briefly in a plywood plant sawmill, but
his main job was to work for his Dad’s company in the early stages of becoming
a carpenter. The zeal of youth and the strong steady hand of his Dad taught Ken
to slow down and do a proper job, to be careful on sites, to have work safety
and to do a proper job with proper tools. Ken began with cleaning up
construction sites and moved on into shovel work then finally hammer work.
After a period of time Ken and Janis moved to Calgary
where they both took up jobs temporarily until Ken continued to work
construction as a carpenter. Ken and Janis dated and were in two separate homes
affiliated with a youth type church in the city for a year and a half. Ken
lived in a house for young men and Janis in a house for young ladies while they
courted and dated. After two years they moved back to Salmon Arm BC.

It was during the years as a carpenter that Ken
learned some of the early dealings of the Lord in the cross, in faithfulness
and in teaching by the Holy Ghost. Coupled with this work Ken received from the
Lord highlights of worship and praise and also of obedience to the demands of
the cross in equipping the believer for the greater works of faith and
righteousness. On numerous occasions Ken would be found worshipping the Lord
with his arms raised while down in some basement somewhere. During this time
many words were given and several visions as well which Ken wrote down and
kept. It was also during this time that it seemed a special time honored
anointing was upon Ken’s work, he managed to do fine work for the most part and
was very fast at it completing most jobs 4 times faster than the average
carpenter.
It was in September of 1979 that the Holy Ghost said
to Ken that Jesus Christ was Lord and Savior of all the world. Immediately this
light dawned on his understanding as never before, that Jesus Christ saved all
mankind, not just some, and that each one would testify of this salvation in
due time. From that word an intent study of scripture was made and many of the
things taught in the word were confirmed from many varied sources and people. Also
during these working years the first two sons were born to Ken and Janis, Josh
in 1983 and Luke in 1985, both January babies. The Lord said to Ken before any
of the children were even conceived that all the children of Ken and Janis
would be taught of the Lord and shepherded by Him. Ken held on to this word
through the many tribulations of raising a
family in those years.

Here are some very interesting statistics from Ken’s
years as a carpenter.
He became a Carpenter when he was at exactly 10,000
hours of work.
Eight out of every ten buildings Ken built was a
completed house from foundation to lockup.
Ken averaged one structure every 22 days. When in
Calgary he framed one house to lockup every 4 days and ran seventeen - three
man crews towards the end of his time in Calgary.
Ken worked exactly 520 sheets of Formica (Arborite)
in his carpentry career.
Ken worked as a carpenter for a total of 13 years TO
THE DAY he ended.
13 is the number in scripture which means “The Agape
Love of God.”
13X13X13 is the numeric value of the words upon the
cross of Jesus “This is the King of the Jews”. In numeric value it means
“Perfect Atonement for Sin”.
The exact number of structures Ken built was 153.
Where else do we see 153 in the scripture?
It is found in John 21:11 when Peter drew in 153
fishes so much that the net broke. The glorified risen Christ was before Peter
on the shore doing this miracle. 153 means “The Manifestation Of the Sons of
God.” When Ken finished his 153rd building on the exact day of 13
years work the Lord said “Now you shall build My house!” Immediately the Lord
removed Ken’s anointing to work wood and he was set into the course he is still
presently on in writing prophecy to the Body of Christ. When needed, the Lord
anoints Ken for particular carpentry projects. View the “Ken’s Shed’s” section
of the Overcomers site to see some of his handiwork.
The year the carpentry work ended was 1988.
