The Thummim Stone - Perfections Arising

“And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel: Six of their names on one stone, and the other six names of the rest on the other stone, according to their birth. With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel: thou shalt make them to be set in ouches of gold.” Exodus 28: 9 - 11.

“And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart, when he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.”
Exodus 28:30

“For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions.” 2 Timothy 4:3,4 AMP.

“Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come], and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom (of perdition), [Dan. 7:25; 8:25; I Tim. 4:1.]
Who opposes and exalts himself so proudly and insolently against and over all that is called God or that is worshiped, [even to his actually] taking his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming that he himself is God.” [Ezek. 28:2; Dan. 11:36, 37.]

“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].
Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].
Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. [Isa. 52:7.] Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God.”

The Thummim Stone - “PERFECTIONS”. Denotes the fruit or the acceptance of further realms of “LIGHTS” from the Urim Stone. For one cannot have PERFECTION in their walk with the Lord if the LIGHT they have received is not GUARDED. We live in a time when there is much false perfection. To discern the difference one must behold the Thummim Stone in its balance with the Urim Stone thus to have equality in walk and talk and in motion of Spirit, either by fruit or prophetically through them. “Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:12,
“ Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me. The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.” Psalm 138: 6-8.

This next writing on The Royal Ephod concerning the Thummim Stone is sent to those who desire to come into a depth in their walk with God that is not compromised, not restrained by man’s systems or religions, and is not lacking due to an insufficient supply of the study of scripture. This writing is sent on the wings of a prayer to those who would overcome all things, who are serious about their walk with God, who would conquer even as Jesus conquered, who are not afraid of the pain of crucifixion. For it is written to those who have chosen to lay down their lives in total abandonment to the cross, and hence to the power of the resurrection life of Jesus in their very souls. This writing is showing forth the terrible malady in this hour of compromise, lukewarmness, the Laodicean mentality that heaps to themselves teachers, whose ears are itching for something “new” and something “more” than the basic truth of the cross of Jesus and our part in it.

For there are two crosses working in the world in this hour. There is a “new” cross. A cross that has not much weight. A cross that does not “really” cancel out SELF. A cross that compromises with religious thought and causes the footfalls of the person bearing it to find an easy path, a path that many walk in, so it must be safe! It is a cross that is not heavy and wooden like the one Jesus bore, but it is lighter, more modern, more in line with modern thought and lukewarm compromises. The other cross however is different. For it is heavy, it kills you. When you are nailed to it, you cannot escape it’s power to end your life. The nails will not let you go from it for you are doomed to die upon it’s crossbar until there is nothing left of you that would be identified with this present world. And in this writing, you will see that these two crosses are working, one to leave you short of God’s richest blessing, the other to give you your true identity in Christ.

In this writing, I plan to show you the Thummim Stone as ARMOR. Even the ARMOR of Ephesians 6: 10-17. And it is that armor I will concentrate on. For the lukewarmness of this hour and the light and easy cross has caused many of the Sons of God to cease applying the armor of righteousness to their life. This time has caused many to come into a walk that will cause them to gain wealth in the world, but lack horribly in the Kingdom of God. Their treasure is compromised, their inheritance in jeopardy, that the Glorification of the physical body that God has promised becomes wishful thinking. That the death of those who obey not God and are relegated to the end of the 1000 year resurrection will be their portion also. All because they accept - COMPROMISE.

If a proverb were to be taken up for this hour in which we live, I would have to say that the proverb would be showing forth LACK not BOUNTY. For there is in my spirit an alarm from the Holy Spirit in me. This alarm comes as a result of the Lord speaking and revealing to me the severe lukewarmness that seems to be settling over some in the company of Overcomers! For the Thummim Stone reveals perfections as a “fruit” or the “result” of receiving further realms of light from the Holy Spirit. It is the light of further understanding, further revelation that gives realm to greater places of “perfection” in your walk. However, if one accepts that light which “imitates” the truth, then the perfection that results will also be restrained in falsehood! DO NOT FORGET. We are in the time when this mystery of Iniquity, this Lucifer, will be seated AS GOD on the Throne of God receiving adulation from those who think they worship the Lord.

The chief example of the walk we are to have in our faith is in the person of The Lord Jesus Christ. He first comes on the scene in the Gospels to be Baptized by John in the Jordan River, the Holy Spirit like a dove settles down upon Him and He is confirmed by John to be “the Christ” the one that we were all waiting for.

The next step for Jesus was that IMMEDIATELY the Spirit of the Lord DROVE Him into the wilderness where He fasts for 40 days and 40 nights then is tempted of the devil.

“Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.” Matt 4: 1-11.

So note that there were 3 areas of temptation.
1} In the area of daily supply, necessary food, His personal needs.
2} In the area of personal protection of self, that no harm would come to Him.
3} In the area of recognition by man and by entire nations.

In all three areas the temptation was overcome by scripture. And Jesus in all three areas was seen totally obedient to the call of God that was upon His life. A noteworthy revelation of all of these temptations was that they served as a “springboard” to launch the ministry and life of Jesus to the world at that time. He had passed the test and was set in as one who was totally obedient to the call of God that was upon Him.

For “perfections” to come by “increased light” we must learn to OBEY the calling of God that is upon us, not by lukewarm compromise, but my sheer obedience even at the cost of personal sacrifice. For perfections can be duplicated by deception, and deception can grow as a “false” blessing and a “false” anointing. How is it that we learn to walk perfect before God? What exactly do we use as a measuring stick in our lives to prove to ourselves and then to those round about us that we are walking in the true measure of Spirit that is Holy and Righteous and has no variableness nor shadow of turning? How is it that we can portray our lives as examples of Godliness and Holiness in the midst of a world that at times seems to spin out of control?

Any person who desires and loves the Lord and who desires to walk in Overcoming Victory will endure part or all of those three temptations that assailed Jesus in His wilderness experience. The temptation that comes will try your pride to see if you can conquer pride by walking in His Spirit. For these three realms of testing that come to the Overcomer first came to Jesus. And if the Overcomer passes the test in these three realms, then the Overcomer will OVERCOME! They WILL HAVE COMPLETED THEIR COURSE. The end of their faith will be Glorification.

But note, that there is right now in the company of Overcomers the doctrine that teaches them that they have a “special place” in the plan of God. That they will be exalted to this high position of rulership so that they can reign over all nations. That they will have all the wealth of the Gentile Nations given unto them. That they will have infinite eternal supply. But the true Overcomer in this hour is really very different from this mentality! For the true Overcomer HAS MADE THEMSELVES OF NO REPUTATION. They have embraced the true cross, the one that is heavy, the one that ends their life in this world. They GLORY in this cross whereby Jesus, as their pattern and example died TO this world and TO their life in this world. They partake of the very same cross! They never make boast or claim as to who they think they are or will become because of their present obedience! They never come into fellowship with those who “itch” their ears with “new” revelation and “new” truths that somehow have been hidden in the Word all this time! The true Overcomer IS NOT SEEN BY OTHERS. THEY ARE HIDDEN AWAY IN THE WOODEN GRAINED STRUCTURE OF THE TRUE CROSS. Never once will they believe that which is an affront to this in-worked cross. They will not believe anything that compromises the truth of the salvation of the Lord and His timing in doing so with mankind. They do not follow these strange voices that state things that are not scripturally sound or founded on the bedrock of truth, the rock that holds the vertical beam of the cross. For they GLORY in the cross! That dear reader IS THE CURRENT POSITION OF A TRUE OVERCOMER FOR THIS VERY HOUR. If the truth the true Overcomer holds as precious does not come through the Cross and the Blood, then they hold it not! For all must be found IN THAT VERY CROSS OF JESUS. The true Overcomer shuns anything that is otherwise!

So then, moving on in this study let us look at the Thummim Stone AS ARMOR. For perfection when it is completed is ARMOR. It is a place of stability that comes into your faith that cannot be shaken. When perfections arise in you because of true light from the rising of the Urim Stone, you will have UNMOVABLE ARMOR TO ABIDE IN. The Spirit of the Lord will confirm to you that the perfection that has come to your life will never abide in compromise. That the perfection will be that realm of defensive protection from the wiles of this day and of the carnality of the religious who have no interest in the true cross of Christ! The perfection, as it comes upon your life layer upon layer, line upon line, will never depart from off of you! For this perfection will be your shield and exceeding great reward. The perfections that come from the Thummim Stone upon your left shoulder will build you up in the most Holy Faith, giving unto you all you need to live Godly and Righteously BEFORE GOD. The perfections that come through to your life come from the very establishment of the Throne of God in Heaven itself, which legs of the Throne are upon the very Jasper Stone of the Witness of God’s Spirit in you. THE PERFECTION THAT COMES FROM INCREASED LIGHT IS THE VERY ARMOR OF THE LORD UPON YOUR SPIRIT. Why do we need armor? Because the assault OF RELIGIOUS COMPROMISE IS INCREASING IN THE WORLD.

In my thoughts, I NEVER hold my ground in perfections without first knowing that my life abides under the Armor of the Lord. That the minions of hell that would cause my life to fall into the fray of compromise { for that is the true enemy } and would fain trick me into thinking I have arrived at that place of complete perfection! WE CANNOT BE AT PERFECTION UNTIL WE FIND OURSELVES LIVING IN GLORIFIED BODIES. Then, and only then will our course of training and processing be completed! Anything less is COMPROMISE. It is PASSIVITY. It is DEADLY to your spiritual life and it is EASY to the carnal nature! Think of this. The temptation Jesus endured at the beginning of His ministry was to think HE ARRIVED AT THAT FINISHED PLACE. And what is the word we hear that is itching so many ears in this hour? That the work IS FINISHED. That the words of Jesus on the cross “It Is Finished”, have somehow been completely done NOW. But it was done in the history, but now it is to be worked out day by day in the mystery! For each one must now appropriate that finished work by BEARING THEIR PERSONAL CROSS. The thought that the work is finished cancels out any further bearing of your personal cross and cancels out any application and wearing of the Armor of the Lord!

The false measure of perfections would manifest this way. That the minions of hell, if successful in making you “religious”, would cause you to think that your compromises with truth, and the easily borne easy cross are of God! That the blessing you are in, and the anointing you feel is truly God! However, they are false! How do you tell the difference? Does your walk with God bring you through THE TRUE HEAVY CROSS? Is your life CANCELLED OUT? Are you of NO REPUTATION? For cursed is everyone who hangs upon a cross! Do you experience blessing and abundance and the applause of men? Is your ministry anointed so much so that you are sought out all the time as one who has a “special” place and an “anointed” word? Do people hang on your every word to find the newest and best revelation? Is your cross seated in the cleft of the rock that holds the vertical beam, bearing the weight of your dying flesh or are you only abiding in multitudinous realms of the accolades of men and meetings? Does the fruit of the Spirit in your life grow from the death that is dunged in around the tree of Life in your soul? Or is the fruit in your life one that allows COMPROMISE? If you answer yes to any of the above, you are not bearing THE TRUE CROSS. ASK GOD TO GIVE YOU THE TRUE CROSS AND SHUT YOURSELF AWAY IN YOUR CLOSET OF PRAYER - AWAY FROM THE GAZE OF MEN - UNTIL YOU KNOW THAT YOUR LIFE IS BEING CANCELLED OUT. FOR WHOSOEVER WILL LOVE HIS LIFE WILL LOSE IT, BUT WHOSOEVER HATES HIS LIFE AND LAYS IT DOWN WILL KEEP IT UNTO LIFE EVERLASTING!

My preaching of the Thummim Stone as PERFECTION cannot be WITHOUT THE CROSS. And it cannot be WITHOUT YOUR DEATH TO THIS WORLD. You cannot possibly know the true Armor of the Lord unless you are truly walking in the perfections of the Thummim Stone!

Ask yourself. “Am I willing to be NOTHING so that Jesus can be EVERYTHING?”

The true armor is listed in Ephesians 6: 10-17.

1} Loins girt about with truth. That which is in me is borne of and maintained by TRUTH. Truth that does not compromise with anything that is not tested by the Word of God and by the witness of the Spirit in my life. Even if no one else can see it! That which comes forth from me, that is birthed and manifested through my life is based in TRUTH alone. That it begets the Spirit of the Lord in greater measure which is to the benefit of all around my life including those who know not the simplicity of Christ.

2} Breastplate of Righteousness. That there is nothing of a religious effort on my part that would contribute to the true righteousness of the Lord in me! For His righteousness is that portion of the Lord in my life that causes me to not be seen. That Jesus alone is exalted and seen in me as the only guiding light and perfection in me that cannot be mistaken for any other thing. He alone is sufficient for my need.

3} Feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. That my footfalls work in and walk in realms of peace in God. They may seem like an affront to the religious, but it is only because of the simplistic path God has chosen for my life. That your footfalls walk in and towards realms of peace, which give one that perfect standing in God which cannot be undone by any outward circumstance. The footfalls of an Overcomer will never walk in compromise, but only in that which establishes and maintains TRUTH.

4} The Shield of Faith. This does two things. It quenches those thoughts that would come into my mind that would REMIND me of failure, rejection by others, rejection by family members or relations, past mistakes, past hatreds and variances by others including schoolmates or acquaintances. These come as a stabbing arrow from the accuser of the brethren. And the second thing the shield does is it guards from FALSE FIRE. That fire that would come as a heat and a guilt of your own past offenses. False accusations that would cause you to lose your stability and falter in your walk. All such are consumed by the Shield of Faith.

5} The SWORD OF THE SPIRIT - “with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints”. For the sword of the Spirit would not strike a person as to their individual dignity, but would strike a person as to their lack of SELF DENIAL. The supplication would be that there would be NO COMPROMISE. This sword endures throughout a lifetime, conquering every area in intercession for every saint you pray for, including yourself, so that you may overcome all things and be found in absolute perfection. Such is the Thummim Stone.
