Seven Churches

“And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem ; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.” Zechariah 14:8-13 KJV

“And I looked in the depths of this sea stood each one consumed by the fires of God from above the waves. Each one was consumed in this fire, their eyes and their mouths and tongues were filled with the consuming fire of God who poured forth into the Sea of Glass the fire from His left hand. And from His right hand the waters of His love and mercy and of His Spirit which would flow at the same time as the fires flowed consuming humanity. Each one who was thus ignited would in time turn to the Lord, and they that turned were delivered of the heat of the fire…… And I saw no graves upon the earth, for the grave of the earth was this Sea, and no one was without the borders of the Sea.

Each one who turned to the Lord having the sockets of their eyes consumed in fire and their tongues diminished by the flames were counted as “Overcomers”. These were the ones who when turning to the Lord were separated from the rest of they who were in torment in the Sea. These who turned began to ascend to rise through the layers, sediments and strata of the Sea to arise upon it, up in the waves themselves there to walk above the storm beneath them. They in turn were risen in purity with the nobility of God Almighty being their portion and their own pure thoughts. All during the rising through the layers and waves of the Sea, they maintained their purity by looking steadfastly unto God alone who did sit upon the Throne.”

We have now come to the study of the Tabernacle of God and the first element and the last element of that Tabernacle. For the entire Tabernacle of God is based upon the Throne of the Majesty on high and is supported by that very same Throne. There is no other Throne or Kingdom by which this Tabernacle will be viewed either now or in the future days.

In the highest part of the Mount Zion is the Throne room and the Throne set. Above this Throne whereupon God does sit is the firmament of the color of terrible crystal Ezekiel 1:22 which stretches forth over the entire sovereign reign of God. It is this Throne and situation in the Mount Zion that is the support or realm in which the Tabernacle of God is found. It may be a bit difficult to understand this scene, but suffice it to say that the Throne of God in the midst of the New Jerusalem has 2 parts to it. Both parts relate to what is known as the Tabernacle of God. One part is this Tabernacle AS the entire City of the New Jerusalem, the other part is the drawing power of the Throne to bring all mankind in to be part and one within this Tabernacle.

The Tabernacle of God works two ways;

1) That the Tabernacle of God is a NOUN. It is an actual realm of dwelling for those who are called and chosen of God to be a part of His Heaven. This Tabernacle is a vital functioning element in Spirit which houses the unlimited Glory of God and the Throne of God. It is the eternal dwelling place for those who are saved.

2) That the Tabernacle of God is also a VERB. It is an actual breathing living functioning portion of the Spirit of God which works to DWELL IN PRESENT TIME in the lives of people. This Tabernacle is the actual motion of Spirit which will bring man to commune with God in the Holy of Holies in the height of the Mount Zion in the midst of the New Jerusalem even in their present life circumstance. As a verb it also works in each one the cross to cancel out their fallen life in exchange for the risen life. For no one can be a part of the action of the Tabernacle without having their self life crucified, identified with Jesus and His passion.

Rather than laying out the exact way the Throne room is set, I would rather lay out the truth of this that is in Spirit. That the Lord upon the Throne has brought forth a purpose to work in our time and in that purpose those who overcome are being more processed and set apart from all others more than at any other time. These are they who are in the Sea of Glass mingled with fire along with humanity. However, they have a certain different walk. They, in the midst of this Sea, turn to the Lord alone. In the midst of the fires of God’s judgments, they turn to God, not away in a more iniquitous or sinful condition. These endure the judgments against them and they endure the fires which burns off their flesh. These are the ones who rise above the waves of this Sea to stand upon the waves having the harps of God to sing unto God a new song. In their mouth is the message of restitution of all creation and of reconciliation between God and man which in time will be. They worship God in Spirit and in truth. This all happens before the Throne in the New Jerusalem.

God does two things as He sits upon the Throne.

1) While seated upon His Throne God DESTROYS all things.

2) While seated upon His Throne God RESTORES all things.

All the destruction of the Almighty in the life of an Overcomer and all the restoration of the Almighty in the life of an Overcomer comes from God who is seated upon the Throne of Heaven. This Throne that is set and cannot be moved.

~ It is this Throne that is the Throne Christ ascended to and stands at the right hand of God interceding for mankind.

~ And it is here that Christ works to save the lost and to bring them into the Kingdom of God .

~ It is this Throne that Christ will grant to they who have overcome.

~ It is this Throne that will complete the process of the fall and the process of total restoration.

~ It is this Throne that houses all the counsel of God as relates to man coming to God to be a part of His life and glory.

~ From this Throne comes forth the decree to cease this present fallen creation and to bring this creation into the Kingdom of God

For they that would overcome there are several realms of submission that they must learn to inherit the fullness of God. Each of these realms is seen in the 7 candlesticks in the Holy Place where John the Revelator saw the risen Christ. The candlesticks represent the 7 churches of Asia which Christ speaks to, but for us that speaking is still prominent. In each of the churches were 7 realms of understanding as to what is required in our daily overcoming.

1) The church at Ephesus . The overcomer conquers - liars, they that hold the truth in unrighteousness. In our day this would be what we term “new age”. Those who have forsaken the cross. These liars say they are apostles but they are not. They also hold to the doctrine of the Nicolaitans which is the premise of men of God as ‘ministry’ being superior to they who are ‘laity”, or those who listen to them. The sin of the church of Ephesus was leaving Christ as their first love. In the flames of the Sea of glass mingled with fire the overcomer, turning to the Lord conquers the loss of Christ Jesus as their first love. This conquers lies by knowing Christ as the first love of their life, lies are then left destitute, for they who claim Christ as the one they love cannot abide in a lie. They that overcome in this church have the right to the tree of life in the midst of the paradise of God. For the overcomer, the tree is made real in them. This says that they have learned to forsake the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and to turn to and walk in the tree of life in the midst of the soul.

2) The church at Smyrna . The Overcomer conquers - those who claim to be God’s people but are not but are of the synagogue of Satan. This is a deeper deception that can be presented to those who Overcome. For now in our day entire groups, motions of doctrine, peoples who claim a high walk with God will have areas where God has NOT spoken and God has NOT moved. These come forth as they that overcome but they are not for they are holding to the claim that they are God’s people. Christ to this church tells them that He was dead, but now is alive. This says that the cross WAS COMPLETED IN CHRIST. And in those who would overcome, the cross must also be completed. For they who say they are God’s special people, that they have a ‘name’ and a ‘place’ in God, these have the cross REMOVED FROM THEM. That is the danger of the church of Smyrna . It is this that we must overcome by being faithful to the cross all our lives through. When you are true to the cross you will be estranged, forsaken, cast out and abhorred by those who claim they are God’s ‘special people’. Christ then likens the Overcomer to being tried by Satan for 10 days but if they are faithful ( to bearing their crosses ) He will give them a crown of life which will never fade away. This crown is the mind of God. This process of the cross in them is the completion of the 2^nd death a death that no one is exempt from. Because they have accepted the loss of their own lives, this death of death can do them no harm.

3) The church at Pergamos. The Overcomer conquers – the sharp sword with two edges that is in the hand of Christ and the seat of Satan. In our day this is none other than once again the doctrine of the Nicolaitans. The intimation here is that of Balaam who taught Balac to put a stumbling block before Israel . This is the modern day thought of PAYING ministry to minister the word of God for money. Balaam was a true prophet of the Lord, but he desired money more. In our day this is big. Balac put a stumbling block before Israel and caused Israel to eat things sacrificed to idols. In our day the stumbling block is the though that the preachers of the gospel must be paid for their services. And the idolatry is the false doctrine they all are promoting, which thing the Overcomer is called to be separate from completely for it is indeed an ‘unclean thing’. They that overcome will eat the true hidden manna, that is the life of the Living Christ in truth in spirit IN THEM. This life is the true bread which satisfies and they who eat of it shall never hunger again. And unto them is given a white stone, a realm of purity and justice that will leave them in a state of total victory, ones who have taken on the full name and nature of God without any measure upon them, and they that have this stone will receive it when they are in glorified bodies of flesh.

4) The church at Thyatira. The Overcomer conquers – thousands of modern day denominations spawned by Jezebel and her daughters. Christ looks upon the Overcomer through eyes of a flame of fire, that as He looks we are purified to be SEPARATE from these thousands and thousands of sects and denominations. Jezebel and her daughters are all cast into a bed of seduction and filth there to be tribulated and destroyed, her children killed by Christ with death. This is the crux of our day for the Overcomer for they cannot be part of ANY system at all, of any that lay claim to fame or name, of any who boldly hold that which is not in perfect order and balance in God. The true Overcomer comes into SECLUSION, apart from all else, there to be JOINED to those of like precious faith, few and far between, but the Overcomer is in fact part of the great Army of God. Christ’s feet are brass as He walks in total judgment against the Overcomer’s life in the world. It is to the Overcomer in this realm that the equality with the Throne of God is first seen and the Overcomer is given a rod in that day to break to shivers the nations. Also given to them is the morning star. Not the perverted star that was the name of Lucifer, but the star that is finalized in the perfected new born again nature of they that have come full course and have realized the grace of God in full measure.

5) The church at Sardis . The Overcomer conquers – unfinished works. Now the Overcomer learns what it means to abide in and walk in the Spirit only and not according to the dictates of the flesh. The works of the Overcomer are seen here as a white garment of righteousness, those who exchanged their righteousness for the righteousness of Christ. What strikes me here is the continued need for repentance, unending repentance, until that repentance becomes your middle name. So it is in our day that some of the new doctrines and revelations that are coming forth have defiled the white garments with doctrines unclean and impure. These doctrines are those which remove the SELF DENIAL PROCESS from a person, and as such they become deluded. Oh the war of this church! How vast its expanse! They that overcome in this church are putting ONLY the white garment of the living Christ upon themselves and are rejoicing that their names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Their name is confessed by Jesus before the Father and the Holy Angels. This book of life is “THE BOOK OF THE LIFE OF THE LAMB”. In other words, it is the testimony of the life of Christ seen in the life of they that overcome in this church.

6) The church at Philadelphia . The Overcomer conquers - the hour of temptation which is coming to try the earth. Not as those who say this happened in 70 AD only, but the conflagration that is ahead for this world which will spell the end of Babylon . The Overcomer here learns what it means to love the brethren in spite of the pressures of our modern day and the temptations to fall away into those who deny the name of Christ. The Overcomers in this church are seen as they who are made steadfast by this same love and are depicted as pillars in the Temple of Heaven . The Overcomer is told the coming of Christ shall be quick, and His appearing shall be such as to they who endured long waiting for the coming of the Lord. These hold fast to their faith that no man will take their crown. This church is the only one depicted as being part of the Tabernacle of God in the Heavenly realm as perfect in love. One of the most interesting things about this church is their identity with the person of Jesus, for those who worship in the synagogue of Satan will come to worship before their feet, because they bear the very image of Christ.

7) The church at Laodicea . The Overcomer conquers – the lukewarmness of this very hour. For this is the hour that man is increased with personal wealth and goods and has need of nothing therefore they are lulled into a false sense of security. This is the malady of our very hour. To they who learn that Christ is what they truly need, they will conquer this lukewarmness which is spewed out of the mouth of Christ and will instead inherit the very same Throne Christ came to when His passion was completed. This can only be done by the in-worked cross. The rebuke of the Lord sets them free of the slumber of this hour.
