Two Natures

Rev 11:8-14

(8) And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

(9) And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

(10) And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

(11) And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

(12) And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

(13) And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

(14) The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

Rev 20:8-15

(8) And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

(9) And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

(10) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

(11) And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

(12) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

(13) And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

(14) And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

(15) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

“And the Angel continued to support me under my right arm and I saw the earth from the vantage point of this elevated position in the atmosphere. I could see the earth and the tumult of the nations in the darkness of their minds. Many storms were raging throughout the earth. And I saw they whom the Lord called His Overcomers, each one standing upon the earth HOLDING UP THEIR HEARTS WITH THEIR HANDS TO THE LORD. Above the earth I saw a huge arm holding a sickle bathed in a beautiful light of gold. The sickle swept over the earth from the East to the West in one motion, held by the arm of a giant. And I heard loud words “COME UP HITHER”. Immediately they who were of the Overcoming Company ceased to exist in bodies of flesh and blood upon the earth and they were caught by the sharp edge of the sickle to ascend into the Heavens. They entered into new bodies into an Eternal Glorified state. One thing I noticed was that there were only a very few who were severed from the earth by this sickle. The Overcomers were few on the earth, were the only ones whose eyesight was set heavenward, and they were interspersed through the earth with much distance between them. But when the sickle swept through the earth they were gath ered together onto the one single blade of the sickle. They were caught up in Glorified deathless bodies but they still remained ON THE EARTH.”

“In seeing the scene in front of me I could see the earth and the Heaven’s at the same time because of the elevated position of the atmosphere in which we stood. Above the Heaven’s a firmament of terrible crystal, and under the crystal a Throne set with a fire enfolding itself upon the Throne. There were huge flashes of lightning and thunder in the crystal above the Throne, much smoke and tempest and a great noise. Within the fire I saw the Ancient of Days sit, even God Almighty. From His very Heart descended a beautiful glorious light, a golden light, and within the light a city………”

To you who are enduring the fiery storms of life, to you who through your manifold trials and temptations are enduring much tribulation and the heat of the fire of the Holy Ghost, to you who are holding your gaze fixed to the best of your ability to the Lord, unto you I say hold fast, for the Lord is coming. It is His good pleasure to give unto you the Kingdom of God. The Lord is coming to set you apart unto Himself. You will ascend with no flesh nature, no more tribulation, no more duality in your minds. Full and complete will be the deliverance of your very persons, entirely as you are created, into the fullness of the Kingdom of God. The question is asked often by those who endure great trials,

“Am I counted as one worthy to be found in Christ?”

“Am I worthy to escape the coming time of great tribulation which will cover this earth?” “Sometimes sin is what is before me, not the Lord, and problems, not the victory, how will I overcome all these things?”

Such are the questionings of those who desire to be complete in their promised salvation.

There has been much preaching in this hour stating that the old nature of fallen Adam no longer applies to us. That the fallen Adam nature is dead and gone. That there is nothing more to do in that realm for Jesus said upon the cross “It Is Finished”. So as a result, preaching has gone forth into the company of those who desire God’s best that there is no more old nature to deal with, it is dead and gone.

Not so.

The very first step in overcoming the flesh is to recognize that it is THERE, in you, and it is your carnal nature! To those who would overcome in this life I say that there are two natures within you. A duality certainly exists, one, bound to this fallen earth, subject to death and decay, the other, the life of God without any sin, no uncleanness, completely Holy and which is eternal. AND BOTH OF THESE NATURES ARE IN YOU AND BOTH OF THESE NATURES ARE GROWING UP TOGETHER. There is a growth in your life of maturity in the Lord, and there is a growth in your life of that carnal part, that hated part, that part that is of the earth earthly. We have them BOTH. You cannot be in a body of flesh and blood and not have both natures.

So allow me if I may to offer you some comfort in your tribulation.

The Lord does not deal with us according to the fallen nature. He does not see it, then condemns you and turns His back from you because of it. Rather, He allows this nature in its corruption to grow right alongside your new born again nature, that nature that is born after God which cannot sin for it is born of God. But the day is coming when this life of flesh will be severed and removed from the New Nature which is your true person. That nature which is born after Heaven, born after God, fashioned to enter the City of God wherein is nothing that defiles or is unclean.

I find it very interesting in contemplating the works of the Lord that He always returns us to our center. For the catching up into Spirit of the Saints is likened to stepping into a new realm of understanding. For we have had in our past the teachings of the 3 feasts of the Lord –

Passover – Our initial salvation experience.

Pentecost – The walk in that salvation by the baptism of the Holy Ghost

Tabernacles – The fullness of that walk to come which would allow us to walk ONLY in Spirit.

What I find interesting is that the pattern of these 3 feasts is designed to make one SPIRITUAL.

But I see that the City of God, the New Jerusalem IS BEYOND TABERNACLES. For it is a city WHICH HAS NO TEMPLE THEREIN. Any Overcomer who is granted the right to live only in a Glorified Body when He comes will be living in Spirit only, BUT IS DOING SO IN THIS NATURAL EARTH. In other words, the 3 feasts bring one to a life only in Spirit, but then the entrance into the New Jerusalem makes that Spiritual life exist IN THIS NATURAL CREATION. The whole emphasis of teaching on the 3 feasts was to bring one to a place of Spirituality. But then the whole emphasis changes when entering the New Jerusalem. For the Saint now enters a truly Spiritual state, but does so IN THIS EARTH. And then our lives become USEFUL! For we remove DEATH from creation! This then is the manner of the City of God. For it is here, on this earth that this City does come! That “Spiritual only” walk we wanted then becomes a reality in a physical creation.

This then is the manner and expression of the coming of the Lord to catch up His Saints.

The Overcomer at this time will be living in a duality. They will have a natural thinking mind which is bound to this fallen earth. In them will be the full fruit of realms of carnality and death, a duality which is hateful to those who desire to be one with the Lord in pure Holiness. In this natural earth they will be paying their bills, working daily, dealing with problems of every sort and every dimension. The constant drudge of continued nitty gritty works of daily life, the turmoil of no change, no rest, no variety, but the continued daily tasks repeated time and time again. At the same time they will have a heart that is sold out for God, for His Kingdom, and with their hands they hold up their heart to the Lord. Like a wheat and a tare together, or like the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and the Tree of Life together in their souls, they shall walk, with this duality in full expression in them. Trials abound which separate fully the life of God and that seed of His life from the life of that which brought Jesus to Calvary. The Overcomer will be applying themselves daily to bearing their cross, to overcoming this lower nature by taking up their crosses daily to follow Jesus. As such, the struggle becomes phenomenal. The temptation to yield to the confusion of the carnal thinking mind becomes outrageous. Hope for the appearing of Jesus to them seems to wane. Vision for the greatest that God has for them becomes a struggle to see. Add to this the human temptation to compare oneself with others and you have massive amounts of depression and despondency which can often be crippling. All this happens in the life of those who have determined to Overcome all things and to reign in life with Jesus.

But the coming of the Lord to take us unto Himself is the sure foundation of our faith, His coming is about to happen. When the Lord comes, He will sever from us our old nature completely. Gone will be the Mystery of Iniquity. Gone will be the curiosity and wonderment about the things of the Lord. Gone from us suddenly will be the death of this flesh. His coming will be sudden, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.

The Overcomers will be the ones taken, the rest of humanity will not be taken into the Glorified state at that time. You will be walking about in this earth in the routine of your daily life, when suddenly He shall come. You will be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, He shall fashion your earthly body into a Glorified Body of Flesh, pumping within its veins the very Blood of Jesus. You will enter eternity, AND YOU WILL DO SO ON THIS EARTH. For this catching up is in SPIRIT. And your Glorified state WILL BE HERE. And it is THIS EARTH that the stage is set for God to work out His Glorious purpose in ending death. And the Overcomers are the ones God has chosen to do this through. Gone from you will be carnality, death and destruction. Instead you will have a body that is Glorified, and that will walk about in this world amongst the Nations who will during this time be in great manifold measures of tribulation. And it is to those Nations and to this fallen creation that you remove, by your Glorified fullness, the death of the fall of Adam. You will appear ON the Throne in Heaven itself, and ON the earth AT THE VERY SAME TIME.

At this time you may feel condemnation because of sinful tendencies in your life, habits and measures of flesh and death that disgust you. In the natural you walk, one step at a time, forward in your life in this earthen existence. But the day is coming Dear Saint of God, the day is nearly here, when you will take one step in this world, in the natural, in your natural physical body in the midst of the Nations, but as you swing your other leg forward to take the very next step, your change will come. You will have the Lord ARISE IN YOU. In this flash of a moment, the Lord Jesus will appear in you without any restriction, without any measure less than who He is in His fullness. All of Him, in all of His Glory will suddenly appear in you before your next footfall. Before that step ends, you will have entered the Eternal Glorified State. Your body will be the body of fullness He has promised us in His word, and you will not come to any physical grave. For this is about to happen.

Be not condemned of the sinful iniquity of your flesh. That does not mean you do not live in repentance of it, and that you do not put it down in your faith. But it does mean that the struggle is real, the conflict sure, and the war unending till He appears. One great exercise I do is to place down at His feet anything and everything DAILY so that all I have and all I am going through IS COMMITTED UNTO HIM. Do this, lay down any opinions on doctrine, any fallacies, anything that you do or do not understand, lay it all down! Lay down your life in a zealous desire to triumph ONLY IN CHRIST. Cause all that is YOU to be NOTHING. Cause by your choice of human will to HAVE ONLY THE WILL OF JESUS. You cannot crucify yourself in some sort of spiritual suicide, but you can live in abandonment of self, so that self does get crucified by the trials you go through each and every day. For the Lord will so arrange your life as to apply it to the cross. For the cross is in the very heart of God. And the New Jerusalem is also in the very heart of God. BOTH ARE APPLIED TO YOU TOGETHER as GOOD and EVIL. Daily does this happen till He comes! Hold nothing dear oh Saint, for the City of God is Glorious, it is desired more than all the palaces of the earth, it is the place where Jesus has built your mansion, it is for you in Spirit, and IT WILL BE MANIFESTED IN THIS NATURAL WORLD.

And do this laying down of your life as though you were a savior. Do so as one who is interceding for those you love in your families, your friends, your ministers, your political leaders, your worldly partners and associates. Lay your life down on behalf of your spouse, your children, your grandchildren, your sisters and brothers, your parents, your loved ones near and far. Lay your life down as a living sacrifice, wholly acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service. Allow God to jealously collect you unto Himself, but then GIVE YOU AS A LIVING SACRIFICE to bring the rest of your loved ones INTO THE NEW JERUSALEM. Oh Dear Saint, Dear Overcomer, the way to overcome is to get through each trial in front of you, and the only way to get through each trial is to LAY YOUR LIFE DOWN AS A YEILDED SACRIFICE. Lay then your arms upon the wooden beams of the cross. Lay your feet upon the upright staff of the slivered wooden pole, and allow the nails to be driven in to cancel out any effort on your part to bring these promises to pass. Lay down your life as though you were the last one who would enter by the Gates into the City of God. That you would take the furthest away place from the Throne of God. The furthest away from that which would be God’s center. Lay down your life as though you were even abandoning your hope of God Himself! Lay this life of yours down as a living sacrifice, as Jesus did, as one who bore nothing but the shame of crucifixion, and then Dear Saint, you will rise again. The years that you felt were wasted, the time you felt gone by where no fruit was borne, all that was your past will God raise from the dead, and death will be no more. Spread wide your arms to the impaling of the Roman nails. Stretch down your legs and feet to the impaling of nails and the blows of the hammer. Allow yourself to be bled for the sake of those you love. For the Overcomer does not go through the trials of life for themselves, but for the sake of the world! You go through your trials of life and the death to self process TO BRING YOUR LOVED ONES IN. Your life, laid out, will judge the flesh of others TO SET THEM FREE.

To the seasoned Saints, the Overcomers of many years I say this, that the process of laying down your life and of Overcoming IS NOT YET DONE. There are yet areas in each one that God is putting His fire to. Each one has areas of victory yet needed, areas wherein understanding needs to be multiplied. Hold fast to this basic truth, for the way into this fullness is by a careful rending of your lives even until Jesus appears in you. Then the years of faithful waiting will be rewarded and your place as veterans of years of service will be in a Glorified state with the Ancient of Days upon His Throne. Those who are coming just now into the Overcomers walk will also be rewarded a Glorified place, so that together creation can be delivered of death and destruction. Hold fast, for He is coming! We are together as one on the blade of the sickle! The first fruits of His Harvest!

Hold fast Dear Saints of God, hold fast to the promise of His word. For this promise is sure, the way is secure, hold fast, obey for what you know the place of your feet before you, the Lord is coming and His reward is with Him. Hold fast, for He is about to be revealed IN YOU…….
