4 Visions

Where [there is] no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy [is] he.  Proverbs 29:18

The many graces and giftings the Lord bestows upon us are sometimes clouded in our memory by the dark night of trial and tribulation. We often lose sight of the greater importance of His grace which enables each one of us to conquer things in our lives that pertains to faith and to the elements of fellowship with the Lord. Because of the long time in waiting for the purposes of the Lord to be worked out, grace and mercy from Him can sometimes be forgotten, those gifts the Lord places upon us to help us to be shaped into the people He wants us to be, redeemed and free in Him as living stones in His house abiding forever in the love of the Father. At the present time the world is reeling from the magnitude of storm and tempest, the shakings of the Lord in all nations, and because of this grace and mercy seems to have been forgotten. Not forgotten in a doctrinal sense, but only in the time of trial and testing that has come to the world of men.

For the Overcomer this time of trial and testing has been long. It has been a way in which the pressures of the day culminate each and every day with hope deferred, as the proverb says, Hope put off is a weariness to the heart; but when what is desired comes, it is a tree of life.  Proverbs 13:12 BBE. What we need to keep in the forefront of our understanding is the fact that everything happening, not just now but up to this point, will all culminate in the greatest display of the grace of the Lord in the restitution of all creation. Nothing will be left undone in the end of all things except that which was built in the realms of perdition. The Lord is going to restore all things in such a way as to shed forth the warm light and glow of love from the great grace that comes by His very person in this creation He loves. Yes, the systems of men will be destroyed but only if those same systems detract from His nature of love being known.

How can one know to overcome if there are not obstacles in their path, areas of detriment to go through and to become stronger and better because of it? How can one know to face adversity if there was no hope contained in the ending of such trial? The things we face as a people are things which the Lord places before us for our perfecting, not for our harm or demise, but to enable us to be whole living stones upon which no man has lifted or shaped with iron. Deuteronomy 27:5,6.  There are at times very peculiar things which come to us to try us, but we learn to confess our faith and to abide confident that we are responding to such things in the will of God.

Due to upcoming eye operations, I am having to face some of these trials, however it is for me now a matter of necessity. 4 visions were in my notes but there was no other leading than to relate them to few paragraphs written above. I am including them here all while petitioning the Lord to keep me in the things I now face in my own life concerning my eyes. Cataract surgery they say is a ‘breeze’. But I have fought for more than half of my life bad bouts of eye disease which complicates it somewhat. Nevertheless my trust is in the Lord and in faith in His name.

I will share for now these 4 visions here reserving the right to repeat them in any upcoming papers at whatever time they come forth. May the Lord bless each one as they read and as the spirit gives them understanding.

In Christ.

(4 Visions)

(1st Vision)

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  Romans 12:1-2

“The Overcomers in this vision laid themselves down upon a Brazen altar. I saw that what were laid first in order were their bodies of flesh and blood, their carnal natural mind, their will and emotion, all that they were in character and in function as individual peoples, their entire person was laid there first upon the altar of sacrifice. Then I saw the new creation man, born of the spirit, laid in order ON TOP of the first part, that which was fleshly and of this world and of the carnal ambitions of man. So for the Overcomer, not just the old former life, but the new life as well was laid upon the altar as a burnt sacrifice unto the Lord.”

(2nd Vision)

Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom [is] a right sceptre.  Psalms 45:6  “I beheld the Father upon the Throne with Christ at His right hand in this vision. The Father had in His right hand the scepter of the Kingdom of God. He moved His arm over and handed the scepter to Jesus. Jesus then held it out in front of Him, holding it out horizontally as though it were a bar of iron. As the scepter was held out this way I saw the Overcomers in the earth view this in their faith and they took their own lives laying them upon the Brazen Altar allowing their spirit, soul and body to be fully consumed by the flames. The altar burnt to ashes each and every Overcomer, there was nothing left of them but ash in the bottom of the altar. Once the Overcomers has been fully consumed and there was naught but ash, then Christ handed the scepter back unto the Father. He left His place beside the Throne and descended to the earth bringing the Kingdom of God with Him in the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to this very world of men. As He did the ashes which were under the Brazen Altar of the Overcomers came together and formed each of them again the bodies of the saints which were sacrificed there unto the Father. As the ashes came together I saw that these were now new glorified bodies that were formed and these rose in resurrection power at the very coming of the Christ. It was a sight to behold. So I inquired of the Lord whether this means that the Overcomers must all die first before we would see Jesus come with the Kingdom? The answer was that these were but ‘living’ sacrifices and this was but a symbolism of people who were alive in the world but who had laid their lives, their wills down completely and did not hold anything back from the Lord at all. So it was but a picture of what it means to lay ones self down in sacrifice before the Lord.”

(3rd Vision)

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.  Matthew 16:24-25

“I saw the Overcomers each one bearing a cross, heavy, hard, moving the cross forward step by step along their ways. The Lord Jesus Christ was there with each one, His face down beside their faces, His arms and His side helping them, holding them, and He helped them each one to bear up the weight of their individual crosses. They did bear up their cross with Jesus full participation with them in it. Theirs was a full participation not just of the fact that they followed Christ this way, but that He now participated with them in their current passions and in their current sacrifices of lives laid down. So it is that the Lord revealed that all such is done by faith and not by sight and that He alone knows who does or who does not bear their cross. We can identify with those who do bear their cross because we will see the marks of crucifixion upon them.”

(4th Vision)

And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness [was] about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire. Also out of the midst thereof [came] the likeness of four living creatures. And this [was] their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings. And their feet [were] straight feet; and the sole of their feet [was] like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass. And [they had] the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings. Their wings [were] joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward. As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle. Thus [were] their faces: and their wings [were] stretched upward; two [wings] of every one [were] joined one to another, and two covered their bodies. And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; [and] they turned not when they went. As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance [was] like burning coals of fire, [and] like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.  Ezekiel 1:4-14

“I beheld then a billowing rolling fire, a fire hotter than the sun which did splay outward and then turned and fell back into itself over and over again. This fire was immense, much larger than any I have seen before. In this billowing fire which turned in upon itself I did see a Throne set and one who sat upon the Throne, even the Ancient of Days. Holy is His Name. Before the Throne were loud peals of thunder and many flashes of lightning and there were creatures before Him. Before Him also I saw an innumerable host of Heaven, the souls of just men made perfect standing before the Ancient of Days who was within this great fire. The host of heaven was in high worship and praise unto God. As the crescendo of their worship increased, so then did the fire increase in volume and in size and in heat. The creatures in front of the Throne also were numerous but I saw one who was like a winged creature which had 4 faces, the face of a man, a lion, an ox and an eagle. As the creature passed by before the Throne it cried “HOLY HOLY HOLY LORD GOD OF HOSTS, WHICH WAS AND WHICH IS AND WHICH IS TO COME, THE WHOLE EARTH IS FULL OF YOUR GLORY.” At the sound of the creature a bright Angel, a seraphim flew between the creature and the Throne and went unto the Altar of Incense before the Throne. It had a pair of tongs which it used to pick up a coal from off of the altar. The seraphim then cast it over the heads of the host and cried out “YOUR INIQUITY IS CLEANSED AND YOUR SIN IS HEALED”. The coal went past and came down and fell to the earth. As it did the worship ascended and the praise increased and the earth which was reeling under judgments came right to itself and the spirit of the Ancient of Days followed forth after the coal and the spirit of the Ancient of Days did heal all the earth so that there was no more sorrow nor sorrow of nations in the earth for the Lord did come to heal it and to make it whole.”
