The word of Jehovah which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah. I will utterly consume all things from off the face of the ground, saith Jehovah. “The earth was before the Lord as though it were but a small sphere, neither too large nor grand in size that the Lord did not have the world in its entirety in His hands and in His purpose to finish this work that He had begun. With both arms over the earth the Lord with one arm would bring forth great evil and with the other arm great peace and doctrines that were according to His righteous nature. The Lord controlled this interplay of good and evil, no one else was present with Him as the world before Him was thus dealt with by His two hands working both things in all the nations now present as well as those extinct and in all the affairs of men. The Lord with perfect precision controlled this interplay with nothing going out of His control. Neither was there ever an evil so great that He did not work in it and nothing so righteous without the pressure of trial and tribulation accompanying it. So great was His working in all the nations in the world of men during this present time and continuing also in those extinct.”

“ Being then brought near and to the side I was able to look out and see the direction the Lord looked. It was there, before the Lord that I saw ONE MAN, ONE CORPORATE OVERCOMER come forth out of the world of men, returning unto the Lord in the glorified body OF ONE MAN. This was a many membered man, not one individual, but a witnessed company of those who obeyed the Lord and who had made a covenant with the Lord by sacrifice. These are they whom the Lord has determined to raise in the first resurrection and by whom He will judge the world. So was I able then to see them come forth unto the Ancient of Days and in their coming I saw the Lord’s hands as they worked. The Lord would move this man first one way, then the other way, controlling in them the interplay of good and evil bringing them up even unto the place of His paved work before the Throne. The man who was but ONE MAN IN THE EARTH was thus converted from being a natural man to a spiritual man in complete holiness even as the interplay of good and evil did work upon them in peace and in tribulations. So they came unto the Ancient of Days and they did return unto Him in glorified bodies. I saw that this man was only but a few paces from reaching the paved work upon which the enfolding fire rests and within which fire is the Throne set and the Ancient of Days who resides eternally upon that Throne.”

Christ is working at this present time in what I term “the second work”, which is not the same as His first work. His second work is a work by which He rules in eternal power and glory from the Throne of glory, the Throne of the eternal King of kings, not subjected to death and dying and the shame of the cross, but now as one who has been given the right to rule the Throne of eternity by God who gave Jesus the ruling power of His Kingdom, the Majesty on high. This second work that Jesus is now doing through history since His ascension up till now is being consummated. His “second work”, is the work by which He rules in the lives of those whom He has separated out from all the “nations” of the earth, the “denominations” of religious Christendom. This second work comes of the demand that Christ made to inherit His Father’s Throne and to give it also unto whomever He chose. The second work IS the choosing of they who will reign with Him and to establish them upon that same Throne.

This work of the Lord is centered upon and concentrated upon those whom the Lord deems as ones that have overcome all things in their particular age. That does not mean that only saints who are alive at this time are the recipients of the Lord’s greater second work. Rather, the Lord has since His ascension chosen those whom He deems as His Overcomers. There have been such through the history of the church, but now the age of the church has closed, the Overcomers now are in the throes of being brought to the end of their trials and tribulations, but that end is not yet. There is still the ongoing process by the Lord in this greater work He is doing of bringing down every high area in the obedient ones and filling up every low area in the obedient ones so that there is nothing in the obedient ones that is unbalanced. This is not just an emotional balance, but a balance of spirit verses flesh in them, of right verses wrong, of a conscience void of offense towards all others and of a conscience which convicts others. The Lord is allowing His Overcomers to go through the gamut of tribulation so that they can have the true needful measures of peace at the same time. Both are working together and both are near at being fully accomplished, hence the vision above of the nearness of this ONE MAN to standing upon the paved work before the Throne, a whisper of spiritual progression.

Right now in the life of the Overcomer there is the combined working of great evil and great grace and mercy. Both the evil and the grace are being worked in them by TRUTH in the inward parts, the evil part rasping down and breaking apart any high vestiges of spiritual pride or iniquity that may remain while the grace and mercy are filling up any areas of self disgust and self hatred over an Overcomer’s life in this present world. This working of evil on one side and grace and mercy on the other is not just being accomplished in the lives of those who are alive and remain in this hour, but also upon those whom the Lord chose in generations passed, those who once lived but then died and left this world and their flesh life to continue on in the process that the Lord was doing with them right from the start. The second work of Christ at this time is to work in them, as well as us, to bring the final completion of this interplay of good versus evil. The Lord is the one doing this work, He controls both sides and He is doing this for all they who will be combined together as His enthroned Army in the day of His appearing.

Right now this second work is very much a part of The Mystery of The Faith because it is almost `silent` in how it is being brought forth in the lives of those whom the Lord has chosen. There is no real perceptible sound to this working, it is a quiet silent working but the impact of it is very tremendous. The Lord controls this interplay, but the outcome is quite astounding. Holiness is slowly being engrained in our nature, we are actually being made PURE and HOLY in our inward parts, and all through our being holiness is becoming part of who we are as people. At the same time the flesh side of us is being more and more UNHOLY, more and more CARNAL. There are two sides to us and these sides are very much separated by Jesus doing this second work. The line is being drawn, the two halves created, the ending of our natural life in this world is being done by the rising of that which is HOLY and that which is UNHOLY inside the life of each and every Overcomer, and the UNHOLY life is being brought to the forefront so that we can see it and deal with it by refusing it and setting it aside. This second work is a work of FINISHING THE SEPARATION INSIDE OF US OF THAT WHICH IS FLESH FROM THAT WHICH IS SPIRIT. This separation comes by this interplay of good and evil which we are enduring and by which the Lord is moving us forward.

To be perfectly clear on this, the Lord is separating that which is holy in us from that which is unholy, this is an act done by His spirit in us and we are walking it out by faith. The high areas of our lives and the low areas of our lives are being laid waste. Now this seems to be what we have gone through all our lives, not just us, but many, and in many past generations. So what makes it different now? The difference now is that we have emerging in us HOLINESS, the likes of which has not been seen before in any group of people. This holiness is almost imperceptible, unseen, unknown and we for the most part are unaware of it in our lives. The holiness is not a sudden occurrence, but a continual motion being created in us day by day by Jesus in this second work.

It begins by us learning right at the start to rely upon Jesus alone for all our spiritual need including spiritual food and drink as well as interpretation of His word to us. The first lesson we have learned is that no one is able to meet our spiritual needs other than Jesus Himself. We do not lean upon any member of the 5 fold ministry to get us through to a holy condition; instead we learn that Jesus alone is well able to do this in us. The 5 fold ministry can confirm His word to us, but they cannot give it to us. Jesus becomes the focal point. We lean upon no arm of flesh at all. The next thing we learn and do is we ENDURE the slow meticulous sifting the Lord is doing in us of separating in our hearts and minds the flesh from the spirit. The motioning apart of these two measures is a long drawn out working of His hands. I say to you now, whether you can believe this about yourself or not, that we are right at the END of this sifting.

This is not just another writing about holiness and vileness in our human condition. It is a writing about the fact that the Lord is bringing this now to a successful conclusion, even in this very hour. Out from the nations and denominations of the earth the Lord has separated us unto Himself and has carried us away from all other human influences. This is key to the preparations needed to be `ready` and awake having our lamps wick`s trimmed and our lamps full of oil in anticipation of His return. The separation of flesh from spirit, of good from evil, of holy from unholy IS PARAMOUNT to His appearing! Do not take this lightly, it is the full weight and purpose of the mind of the Lord from the foundation of the earth to prepare the Sons and Daughters of the Lord for His coming in absolute holiness to perfect them and manifest them in bodies like unto His. You may think that things are continuing as they have for most of the years of your life, but they are not, they are even now being concluded.

Add to this interplay the process of good versus evil the continual assault by the powers of darkness against your human condition. The enemy of your soul does not attack you if you are lukewarm; the enemy of your soul attacks you for looking up unto Jesus and allowing your life to be processed by His hand. There is at this time the completing of the Lord’s work of separation of light and dark in you, but along with this is the intelligent, continual and unmeasured assault by the forces of evil that are arrayed against you continually. Not one assault against your person is overcome and a second assault has already started. The increase of warfare against your spiritual life is akin to Revelation 12:7 where Michael and his Angels are warring against the dragon. This dragon in that verse seems to be a sole warrior for the side of evil, but trust me; the dragon is not alone in this measure of contempt for the Lord’s people. The dragon is bolstered by carnally minded people worldwide who are used of the powers of darkness to fuel demonic attack against the Lord’s chosen few. This assault is very real, it comes to you in measures that you think are but taints in your thinking or character, things that you ‘assume’ are your own thoughts or personality traits. But these are subtle suggestions, measures of hatred against your person which disguise themselves as simple frays in how you see yourself in this world of men. These assaults are designed to make you look away from Jesus alone and on to anything BUT Jesus. The whole point of this increased war in the spirit world is to get you to cease from looking to the Lord alone and from you walking in the truth He has already engrained into your person. The Holy Spirit is faithful to reveal these areas to you, and no sooner are you able to refuse these areas and overcome them when the attack comes by another means and by a different manner. These are real workings in the spiritual world which are causing the Lord’s people to become quite dismayed in two areas. First, the seemingly slow ‘return’ promise of Christ to come receive us unto himself. This slowness becomes magnified in your thinking making you wonder how long it will be until He appears, and that magnification then turns to accusation and possibly charging the Lord foolishly that His promised coming is delayed. That is the first area of attack. The next area of attack is the thought that you are not able to become purified and holy as He is holy. You can never be holy and without fault is your thought. In a measure that is true as long as we abide in bodies of flesh and blood. But take from this the above mentioned fact that the Lord is drawing the line of distinction in us separating in us good from evil and you will see that you will indeed become HOLY. This is very true, that holiness will overtake you once the separation of good and evil in your life is completed. At that point the Lord will come and your evil flesh part will be forever removed from you. This is HIS WORKING, not yours, and it will happen and as I stated before, we are right at the point of this taking place - that is how close we are to His appearing.

Those are the two main areas from which all the accusations and false peace and areas of contentment and lukewarmness are spurned. These two areas are like dual hurricanes spinning off of their spiral wheels that which would trip up your walk and make you fall away from keeping your gaze fixed firm on the Lord Jesus Christ ALONE. Everything else gives ground to deceptive attacks when these two hurricanes are reinforced and thought to be part of your human nature. They are not, they are LIES. And it is the second work of Christ to now bring these lies to the forefront so that you can overcome them by His great grace which has never left you.

We are at the time of His appearing. it is not an appearing that ‘may’ be in our day, it is a PROMISE. Mystery Babylon is collapsed, the entire present system came into being during the early depression of the 1930’s but it is ended in our day, we are seeing its demise in every newscast and in every life that is affected by it. This collapse cannot just happen without an answer being given to mankind, and that answer will be the manifestation of the Sons of God. That is the answer the Lord will give to this time of great upheaval and through whom The Mystery of the Faith has been fully developed.
