JamesAbandoned Unto Jesus

“And they were on the way, going up to Jerusalem ; and Jesus was going before them: and they were amazed; and they that followed were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them the things that were to happen unto him, saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests and the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him unto the Gentiles: and they shall mock him, and shall spit upon him, and shall scourge him, and shall kill him; and after three days he shall rise again. And there come near unto him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying unto him, Teacher, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall ask of thee. And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? And they said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left hand, in thy glory. But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup that I drink? or to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? And they said unto him, We are able. And Jesus said unto them, The cup that I drink ye shall drink; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized: but to sit on my right hand or on my left hand is not mine to give; but it is for them for whom it hath been prepared. And when the ten heard it, they began to be moved with indignation concerning James and John. And Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they who are accounted to rule over the Gentiles lord it over them; and their great ones exercise authority over them. But it is not so among you: but whosoever would become great among you, shall be your minister; and whosoever would be first among you, shall be servant of all. For the Son of man also came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.“

Mark 10:32-45 ASV

For I delivered unto you first of all that which also I received: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried; and that he hath been raised on the third day according to the scriptures; and that he appeared to Cephas; then to the twelve; then he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, but some are fallen asleep; then he appeared to James; then to all the apostles;                                          1 Corinthians 15:3-7 ASV

When they had finished talking, James replied, Brethren, listen to me. Simeon [Peter] has rehearsed how God first visited the Gentiles, to take out of them a people [to bear and honor] His name. And with this the predictions of the prophets agree, as it is written, After this I will come back, and will rebuild the house of David, which has fallen; I will rebuild its [very] ruins, and I will set it up again, So that the rest of men may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles upon whom My name has been invoked, Says the Lord, Who has been making these things known from the beginning of the world. [Isa. 45:21; Jer. 12:15; Amos 9:11, 12.]                                                                                                       Acts 15:13-18 AMP

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.                                                                                                Matthew 7:13-23 KJV

{To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD, who spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: And he said,} I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire. The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire. Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them. Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.                                                                                       Psalms 18:1-16 KJV

( 3 Visions )

(1st Vision )

“The brightness of the Throne and the room about the Throne excelled in the bathed light of His countenance. To the right of the Lord an Angel approached with a large book written within with 144,000 lines of text. Each line was a line of a person, each person a line of text within the book. The book was similar in appearance to a board which would scroll through the pages, each page in order and perfectly aligned. The book was placed at the right Hand of the Lord who began to read through the lines. As the Lord read through the lines of text He would pause between each line and look out over creation to those who were overcoming in the earth. His eyes would gaze upon each one and His gaze would position them according to what was written in the book, each one moving to their assigned position. The one thing that I noted was that each Overcomer was PAIRED with another, two by two, they were moved through the earth in perfect unity and positioned in preparation for the motion of Spirit that the Lord was preparing His government to move in.”

( End 1st Vision )

( 2nd Vision )

“I beheld then many small scrolls of text that were presented to the Lord as He did sit upon the Throne in the brightness of His glory. Each scroll was rather small and together the scrolls formed a book written within and without, however each scroll was separate in the book, yet part of the same book. The scrolls were presented to the Lord and I knew that these scrolls totaled 144,000 individual scrolls. They were written with the testimony of Jesus as the book of the Life of the Lamb. On the edge of each scroll was the sprinkling of blood of the atonement. The Lord would open and read each scroll in order and the life of the person on the earth that was being read came into alignment with the writing of the scroll so that the scroll was a testimony of the life lived in the earth in those who would be known as Overcomers and who would form part of the 144,000 in the earth who also followed the Lamb.”

( End 2nd Vision )

( 3rd Vision )

“And I saw Jesus descending from Heaven with a shout, with the trump of God. As He came towards the earth from the Heaven’s there was a great darkness gathered before Him, a great time of tribulation, a great tumult in the earth, many nations and peoples were in great tribulation as He did come. Before His feet was the gathering of blackness and of a great storm. However upon the earth were a very small few, a small company of those who had overcome. As Jesus came near unto them their faces began to shine in the light of His glory, even this one who was hid from man’s view by the great storm and tribulation that was before His appearing. Jesus in His body which was raised from the dead came in person to this earth. The nations who did not obey or know the Lord had increased blackness gathered upon their countenances. But those very small few, the little company of those set aside from all other things, they alone had faces which shone in perfect reflection the VERY IMAGE OF THE FACE OF JESUS. In fact, each one who had overcome LOOKED EXACTLY AS HE DID LOOK. This appearance of Jesus as their faces increased more and more until their faces were in exact mirror image of the living Word of God, The Lord Jesus Christ, they reflected perfectly holy myriads in a multiplicity of the Lord which was perfect with no shadow or darkness at all. The world lay still in dark woe and tempest, but the Overcomers were in bright glory and with the reflection of Jesus in their faces as He did come to glorify His own.”

It was of these people, moreover, that Enoch in the seventh [generation] from Adam prophesied when he said, Behold, the Lord comes with His myriads of holy ones (ten thousands of His saints)” Jude 1:14

( End Vision )

When looking at the Christian world one has to wonder at how the Lord is so gracious to them. He pours out of His Spirit upon all flesh, even those wrapped up in denominational settings and in the doctrines of men. Those who we know are in peril because of bad doctrine and a distorted image of Jesus. Surely in the lives of these ones His visage is still marred more than any man. Yet we see prophecy coming forth in their midst, the motion of Love from God, great realms of peace and several places of security in what they hold to be truth. Even though we see that God has sent them strong delusion that they should believe a lie, they still seem to be so blessed and their congregations are growing in numbers. Hungry souls are coming to Christian assemblies as never before and there are many churches in the world now which are prospering in the very blessing that only the Lord can give.

In the world of men who bear the name of Jesus, there seems to be great waves of blessing from the Lord. And He IS blessing them, even when they hold to strong delusion. It is to them that His Hand seems to be extended and they are enjoying the benefits that come from walking with the Lord.

On the other side we see the few who are called Overcomers. They are in quite a different place. Their lives are covered in waves of judgment from God. Tribulated and often in the quandary of tempest and storm, the Overcomer seems lost in a maze and myriad of dealings and motion of Spirit from the Lord which often seems to overtake them. They do not look organized, they do not look like they have a handle on any truth at all and when you look upon them they seem to be lost in near insurmountable circumstances which take away their very will to survive. Those who are in the denominational setting who enjoy this present basking in the light of the sunshine of the Lord’s love do not bear witness to the Overcomer who has separated themselves from their assemblies. They look upon the Overcomer with the judgment in their minds that they have ‘missed’ what was God’s best for them by leaving their church. Even though some of the Overcomers left many decades ago, they are still held in disdain by those of the assemblies who think God is truly confirming their faith, even unto the end.

So the Overcomer is under harsh dealings at this time. They have often appeared in the world as people whose lives have been turned upside down. No semblance of order exists between them other than the doctrine that Jesus will save all men. Everything else seems out of place and out of time. Why is that?

It is that way BECAUSE THEY ARE UNDER THE JUDGMENT OF THE LIVING GOD

 – “F-I-R-S-T”. These who have come out of all other things HAVE THE DROSS OF FLESH BOILING TO THE SURFACE IN THEIR LIVES. They do not have any semblance of order IN THEIR OWN PERSONS. They are waiting for that ‘better thing’, that City whose builder and maker is the Lord alone, not man and which is founded upon the person of Christ alone. These who are overcoming at this time do not have any notion that they are of any value in themselves. They know that it is only the Christ in their lives that matters and His working to perfect them IS A PAINFUL PROCESS. The churches and denominations round about are not under this judgment. They are not part of this working of the Lord in this hour. It is only the overcomer who is compassed about with infirmity and is overtaken with the VIEW of their own horrid flesh! These who are being thus judged know that in them, that is in their flesh, DWELLS NO GOOD THING.

The fruit of this judgment then becomes apparent. The more the fire of God burns in their lives and falls upon them in waves of wrath and of the anger of the Lord, the more they have a very strange yet noble reaction. Each overcomer who comes into this realm of judgment has one particular fruit in their life that NO OTHER CHRISTIAN HAS. The overcomer has a fruit I call “ABANDONMENT”. They join Jesus in their Gethsemane experience in abandoning their lives unto the total will of Father. They truly have come into the fellowship of sufferings and the mark of that suffering is the disdain of cursing by being hung on their own individual crosses. Impaled in the hands and feet, the overcomer has lost any ability to move of their own accord. They have nothing left but to commit their spirits unto God and to expire to this present evil world. IT IS IN THESE THAT THE LORD WILL FIRST APPEAR. IT IS TO THESE THAT THE COMING OF CHRIST SHALL BE.

James represented the Hyacinth Stone, also known as the Jacinth (Sapphire) Stone in the foundation of The New Jerusalem. Which stone is the stone seen as one key stone in the foundation structure of the City – The Body of Christ. How do we know this? Because the Sapphire stone COMES FROM MUCH HEAT. It is a burnt stone, burned in the deepest parts of the earth and it emerges open upon the ground after much upheaval. Does that sound like the life of an Overcomer? I do not ‘speculate’ when referring an Apostle to a Stone, but see how their life clearly indicated the meaning of that portion of truth that comes from the study of scripture. James according to history, only lived 11 years after the resurrection of Jesus then Herod “killed James, the brother of John with the sword.” Martyred early James life represented GREAT TRIBULATION. Authorities presume his death to be around 44 AD.

For the Overcomer the same is required of us, perhaps not the laying down of our natural body, but of our very life as relates to PERSONAL WILL. We partake of Gethsemane and the passion of Christ more than most who confess to know Jesus. Our walk is a disdained walk, a cursed walk, a walk that mankind judges as unworthy of acknowledgement or of appreciation. But the few who have come aside to bear their crosses this way have a camaraderie which identifies one with the other in a unity of Spirit that cannot be broken. The Overcomer claims nothing, holds to nothing of this world, has no value in this world and adds no contributing factor to the furtherance of worldly ambition. The Overcomer then becomes a standard of righteousness which in time will be the measurement by which the rest of mankind will judge themselves. In fact, the Overcomer who submits at this time to the judgment of God will RULE the nations with a rod of iron, that standard of holiness that has been worked into them. This rule will shatter the nations to shivers as a potter breaks a vessel of clay.

It matters not what is going on around you in assemblies or in political or economies. All of this WILL BE SHATTERED. For YOU, the one reading these lines, there is the race of endurance in the putting off of the body of sins, the old nature. And for this you suffer presently the judgment of God and the rejection of men. But this must be until all that is in your life is fully surrendered to the living Christ and He alone holds the yielded reins of your spirit in total obedience to His perfect will. This is done by the pressures you presently bear, not that God is against you, BUT FOR YOU. And He uses that which is your enemy to become your deliverance, that which is your guilt and shame to be the springboard of your faith. It is these very things that was typified in the foundation structure of James, built into the Body of Christ as one who abandoned all to be found perfect in his savior. This is the motion of spirit as relates to your present trials, and this is the judgment of the Lord which you presently endure. By this you will indeed overcome all things and reflect fully the facial features of Jesus when He comes.
